Problem facing in adding activex control programmed in Vb studio 2010

Hi,

   Iam facing problem in adding activex control.

Iam using demo version E3 v2.5 and E3 V4.6. I tried in both but it is giving an error code. i wrote a sample program in VB studio 2010 in .dll format and tried that .dll to add it in activex control. Even iam trying to add drivers of vb scripting and vb application downloaded from E3 web site. they are also not getting added.

What ActiveX Control are you trying to add?

Its is just a small program like addition of two numbers using vb studio 2010. i saved that file in .dll format and tried to put it in E3 V2.5 and V4.6

Can you try to add the same control in Excel?

no it is not getting added. error windows opens up saying cannot be registered

Your ActiveX Control has some compatibility problem.

Thank bro. got the problem. It was not actually about the compatibility. I was using my VB studio and elipse in e3 in VMware environment. So iam programming VB module in user not as a admin. I have run both elipse and VB as administrator and activex control registered successfully. ActiveX control is not getting registered in the system. So it is poping up error. Thanks for your hint. It really worked out
