[RESOLVED] ALERT: Due to Windows’ latest updates, Elipse Power systems may stop working unexpectedly
The problem affects the following systems after updates released by Microsoft after January 3:
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows 8.1 e Windows Server 2012 R2
- Windows 10 e Windows Server 2016
Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 systems were NOT affected.

Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and is working on a resolution for an upcoming release.Meanwhile, Elipse Software does not recommend installing these updates.
For Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 (R2), Windows Server 2016 and some Windows 10 versions, Microsoft has already released updates that fix the issue created by previous updates. See:

Windows 10 versions 1511, 1709 (latest) and initial version are for now still without a fix. To check the version you have the command winver can be used.

For version 1709 the latest fix is for 32-bit (x86) systems only.
