Scanner to E3 Setpoint

Dear all,
i am trying to connect scanner to e3 scada i didnt read the data to e3 set point,
but i am able to read scanner data in note and excel and mc works scada also.
please suggess me is there any driver is required or anything

How is the scanner data transmitted to Notepad/Excel? Is there any intermediate software?
